Where better than to kick off my little photoblog thingy than the beautiful city of Sydney? Those of you that have been lucky enough to visit this wonderful place will no doubt have seen the usual sights; the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, and most likely will have been to Bondai or Manly beaches.
However, not quite as many people seem to make their way to Darling Harbour. I made my way over there with a pretty cool American guy I met at the hostel I was staying in, named Travis. Despite us getting utterly soaked, we managed to park ourselves in? or out? not quite sure, a bit of both, of a bar which ran alongside the Harbour.
Anyway, that bar was Pontoon, and thankfully the massive heater thingies were on; a godsend. So at least the rain wasn’t too much of an issue, though it is the reason I only managed to get the one salvageable picture (see above).
So what can I say? Darling Harbour is awesome. The atmosphere is really relaxed, the beer is pretty good, and the shopping is
awesome, because as a poor travelling male, that stuff doesn’t really do it for me, but I’ve been told by women it’s definitely worth a look.
