Happy New Year 2018
Happy New Year!
And so another year comes to an end. The particularly unfortunate year that is 2017, but now the page has turned and it’s time to leave the tough times in the past and crack on with the exploration!
Despite a relatively unfulfilling year, with a distinct lack of holidays and travel time, I’m largely optimistic about what 2018 will bring. The reason being that a trip down under is back on the cards! That also gives me a great opportunity to do more travelling in Australia, and that in itself will help to piece together some of the missing parts of Macrodyl – you know, those missed photo opportunities that you don’t realise you needed until you try telling a story without them. So yeah, there’ll be a few of those popping up.
I’ve also got some exciting content planned, looking in more depth at photography and editing as I start to get a tiny bit better at it.
Being based in England means I’ll also be adding in a few Brit-based stories. This is more because it’s easier to stay in one place while I put some tremendous plans in place for the future, but you’ll hear more on that later in the year.
That’s not the only big change planned in for this year though, 2018 should finally see the completion of the most in-depth and drawn out piece of content I’ve ever put together. Some of it has dripped through onto the site in pieces, but the final version should reach you guys this year. And then there’s a relatively secret initiative, but I’ll give you more info on that when it’s ready.
Onwards and upwards! I hope you all have an amazing year.
